Hi All and
thanks for stopping by
Cooking-with-Ed.Com.
My name is Ed Rizzo and some of you may recognize me from my other
DPD Marketing websites. You may have guessed that I do work from
home with Internet marketing.
Although, this
website has nothing to do with Internet marketing, it is about
another one of my personal interests and that is cooking. Not only
do I love to cook, I love to eat.
Now, I want to warn you up front, this site and 99%of my recipes are not for you folks
that count calories.
Food from Around The World, Traditional
American Food, Asian Food, Old World Style European Food and Mexican
Food!
Throughout this site, I
am going to post some of my favorite recipes from places I have
visited and lived.
You can probably tell
that I am Italian,100% through and through. My wife, Judy, is from
Germany and most of her family is still there. She moved to the U.S.
when she was 2 years old with her mother
Some of my recipes will
be from both places as well as the world over. They all keep with
tradition and most are right from the Old Traditional styles. Dieting
I do, for some
of you dieters have a few recipes that are for you weight watchers.
They will be
included on this website with a page dedicated to low cal, low
cholesterol and just plain good recipes.
I was
surprised that when I tried some of these diet recipes, they were
very good. I actually got them from a relative that is constantly on
a diet. I think you'll like them.
As soon as I
get them organized and formatted, they will be added. Keep a look
out!

Conversion Table
I have a nice little
conversion table for some of the recipes. Some of the recipes I got
from my German relatives. these are all fro foods that we had on
some of our trips to Germany. They are in metric form so I thought
it would be a good idea to include a conversion table. There is no
way I could survive in the kitchen without it!!
back in the mid 1980's, my
wife and I knew this old woman that we all referred to as Gram. like
us, she lived not to far from where my wife and I live now. She was
definitely a 'country gal' and she had some good ole down home
recipes.
On my wedding day, she
handed us a notebook. In that notebook was every recipe she had
grown up with.
There is just so much in
those pages that I thought it would be a good idea to share some of
those old world recipes with you.
Some of them will be
included here in these pages. There is even some tips on things that
can be substituted for other things. I hope you enjoy them as much
as we have.
Traditional Recipes The World Over
As you browse through
the pages of
Cooking-With-Ed.com , I
want to invite you to copy my recipes and try some of these culinary
delights with your own family. I'm sure you'll agree that they will
take the ho-hum out of dinner time and have your family craving
something new and delicious to eat.

Some of you
may also know that I have been doing some major construction on my
house. Along with a good size addition, we are also gutting some
rooms and remodeling all of the others. With that, we have had to
make some major purchases from appliances to windows, siding,
furniture etc.
Most of these
purchases were made online from merchants I have researched and
trusted. Although, I don't want to turn this into a commercial
website, I am going to post the links and banners from these
merchants for anyone interested. These are all trusted, familiar
companies and if you are thinking about any major purchases, maybe
my research will save you some time.
I am also
interested in Gardening and not only do I have a very large
vegetable garden but my wife takes care of most of the landscaping.
I will include links and banners from companies that we make our
purchases from.
